The Mission of  FISH

FISH of St Charles County is a non profit volunteer organization to the less fortunate in St Charles, Lincoln, and Warren Counties.  They provide food, clothing, linens, and housewares.

How Friedens Helps

Friedens helps FISH with their mission by holding a Meal-a-Month program.  FISH sends us a list of the most needed items and we collect them for the month.  Mostly it’s food but as you can see from the picture they are in need of other items as well.  If you would like to contribute please leave your items in the black container at the back entrance of our building or bring them on Sunday and place them in our Well of Hope in the narthex.
Items needed for the F. I. S. H. pantry this month:
  • Toilet Paper
  • Shampoo & Hair Conditioner
  • Liquid Hand Soap
  • Lotion
  • Ladies & Men’s Deodorant 
  • Child’s Toothpaste
  • Laundry Soap
  • Kleenex
  • Bar Soap
  • Coffee

  • They are still in short supply of paper grocery sacks, so any you could donate would be greatly appreciated. Because they super pack the orders, they have learned to double bag each sack.  

SPECIAL REQUEST from FISH: Blankets, sheets, pillow cases: queen size if possible, if not any other size will help, towels
Children’s coats, shoes and boots (pre-school and school sizes)
Anything for the kitchen – they don’t have to match – glasses, plates, bowls, mugs, silverware, pots, pans
Diapers: large sizes, Pull-ups: large sizes
